¿Cuánto suma 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + ··· y así hasta el infinito?

Veamos:

S = 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + ···

S = 1 + 2¹ + 2² + 2³ + 2⁴ + ···

S = 1 + 2 ( 1 + 2¹ + 2² + 2³ + 2⁴ + ··· )

S = 1 + 2·S

S = - 1
